Anybody here in washington got the state patrol to issue a variance on the frnt plate issue?
In Nevada, yoiu don't eed a front plate if there is no stock location or mounting hardware. i.e. Lamborgini, ferrari, most Porshes etc.
I had a 1999 Mustang that did not have holes, but the bumper had a "place" for the plate and they required it to be there.
As for the SVT focus, it des not have a mounting place, but a frame is available. I would love to go the the State Patrol and argue that they are requiring me to devalue the car which is of a limited production by having me drill holes in the front bumper. I can even produce SVT literature wich shows the car in its factory appearance without a front plate or bracket.
Just wondering if anyone knows the entire proceedure and how sticky they are about the word "impossible"

Street Racing is a felony. It doesn't matter if you are racing or if you are just watching either way they will tow your car and throw you in the slammer!
anyone know about noise ordinance laws in Pierce County? I play my music really loud and a cop yelled at me over PA system the other day saying i was disturbing the peace. However, i was on Meridian in Puyallup and that road is a highway... Been looking for the law for a while now and cant find it. I thought i read somewhere that you can have your music as loud as you want between 7AM-10PM as long as its not through residential.
You can only have it at a certain level. Not sure what that level is but if you see a cop just turn it down. Because if they can hear it just a little bit they will give you a ticket for it.

Racing is also equivalent to a DUI as is Reckless Driving. I went through a reckless driving mess about 3 years ago, it was not fun. There was some 16 year old kid in court with me for racing his stock acura Integra LOLMFAOROFL
I got pulled over twice in ten minutes just north of Yakima for no front plate. Even though it was on the dash. The office let me go but also warned me about me tail and side markers being smoked. From what i can tell me lights meet all requirements. Just happy he didn't notice the non DOT ST170 up front.
