So I'm getting a check cut for the value of the repairs. They offered to fix it but I need the money for some stuff for my S2K. So my buddy and I are going to put fender flares, wheel spacers, and other assorted things to try to repair it and cover it as much as possible. If anyone has experience with this, any expertise is welcome. I have a spare set of SVT wheels I'm going to throw on there until I can get a replacement 15 spoke SVT ordered and powdercoated. I'm really bummed about this whole thing but we'll see how the Focus turns out.
No, the guy admitted to it (it was a side-swipe in motion on the road) and I was given money for the repair. It went to my new hardtop for my other car. A buddy of mine has some ideas for doing the repair.
