I should be getting a dyno done soon for custom cams. After that you will have some empirical data for that option. It really isnt that expensive if you do the work yourself.

if you read what is on my car i havent had it dynoed yet due to being stationed in germany but you can definalty tell the difference when driving the car! more power at your feet and the rpms rise faster! ill get it dynoed next time im home just to see how much i actually increased but i would guess around 20-30 bhp

Great write up and I will be combing through it more thoroughly to see what little extra I can get out of my car. I think I have done pretty much everything I can do that is street legal in CA and that won't make me lose performance.

Personally I love having both engine mounts & the transmission mount. They tighten everything up so nicely and the car feels way more solid.

has anyone done the Exhaust cam gear with any real performance in HP and TQ?

Sure theres gains to be had it just depends more on your supporting mods and how far off optimum your settings were from the factory. The reason i didnt value it so much for this guide is due to the fact that you'll need to dyno tune it to get any noticable gains from it. Its not just a bolt on so to speak.

I have an adjustable exhaust cam gear with the JRSC, and it dyno'd best at 0. In other words: a waste of money. LOL

It could be different for N/A, but that's my experience right there.

i just have my N/A SVT and i am not planning on putting FI on there unless i feel like i need it. lol. for right now im just doing little things for my car. (While im watching FSWerks Turbo build kit) i think its a little old to be boosting it any time soon. so im doing the little mods that make it fun to drive. :)

right now im looking at this set up let me know what you think?
AEM CAI
CFM 67 mm TB
FSwerks SVT tune
Massive Dual UDP kit
HKS Cat back with poly mounts and HFC with bigger flex pipe
Ceramic header for looks and heat transfer
Tri Ax STS
Eibach Pro kit with O.Z. Ultraleggeras with 205 50 r16 tires
all 3 mounts for motor
And car is going on a serious diet. lol
And maybe the exhaust cam gear.
Thats all i can think of off the top of my head to do for the future. lol any suggestions?

AEM CAI (Looks and sound as compared to a high flow filter)
CFM 67 mm TB (Mostly throttle response, no real gains to speak of but you'll notice a differene)
FSwerks SVT tune (Best non FI upgrade around!!!)
Massive Dual UDP kit (Decent for NA... mostly for reduced reciprocating weight)

HKS Cat back with poly mounts and HFC with bigger flex pipe
Ceramic header for looks and heat transfer
The cat back exhaust is good for toning down the "rice factor" with an ORP or HFC but provides no real gains *at this level of performance*

Tri Ax STS
Eibach Pro kit with O.Z. Ultraleggeras with 205 50 r16 tires (ur call, id ask the autox crowd before i made a decision)
all 3 mounts for motor
And car is going on a serious diet. lol
And maybe the exhaust cam gear.
