This was a net truck back when commercial fishing was still a viable way to earn a living here. When the bottom fell out of the market (ie. it cost more in fuel to go far enough north to the good fishing waters then back to the mainland with the catch) they just parked it. Now its on state park land.

What's left of the flathead V8.


Interior. Note the transmission brake.


Rear tire (Firestone) slowly sinking into the dirt. Rear extra wide hub and lugs for dual rear wheels, means it was a TT.


The truck would have been slowly striped over the years. Someone needed a part, they'd go and get it. Someone needed a rear wheel and tire, a carburetor, grille, headlights, seats, whatever they went and took it.

Flathead V8 makes this a Model B. Dual rear wheels makes this a Model BB.
