I have a 2015 Focus St. I am trying to decide to delete the muffler, resonator, or both. What is everyone thoughts that has done this? Notice any power increase? Thanks
Resonators are what give a car tone, mufflers are there for volume. Delete the resonator and the car will sound like crap. I would urge you to heed hEaT's advice on this, or save up for a few weeks and do it right.
I know I'm kinda late to post but I did muffler and resonator delete and replaced the res with a dynomax race bullet. Also have a previously installed downpipe. It may not be for everyone but I'm loving the sound.
