what the fuuu!??! i could totally sell my car right now for that, buy this car, and have boost!? I'm totally tempted to do this. Id just have to change out a ton of parts back to stock before i sell it and take out all my audio equipment...
Did he take the cage out? I know he had a custom cage put in it and had to modify the door panels to get the doors closed. I also though his car put down more power, So I'm not 100% sure that it's his car. But does look to be a ok deal, just make sure you get it checked out by a good mechanic that you trust before you but it.
If you read all the way through the ad he says he also used to have a gutted/caged Focus. 99.99% sure this is the same Paul. I'm pretty sure that's a Mazda 5 in the background and I know they had one of those as well so I guess that makes me 100% sure.
If I remember right this was a FSWerks demo car that he bought from them (maybe SEMA a few years ago in the GT Tires booth or something as well). There may be an old thread or two around with additional details. Seems like reasonablele deal. If it wasn't abused or changed much from when he bought it from FSW it should be very well sorted and reliable.
I was going to buy it I went out and saw him I just couldnt make it happen. He is doing really good though and it makes sense for him to sell it for where his life is taking him. Its a screaming deal. This thing was built by the masters!
If this link expires like the one at the top of the thread did just search the same Craigslist category for "Turbo Focus" and it should show up if it's still for sale. Here's his ad that was reposted today: http://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/cto/3300100397.html
edit: i didn't realize Paul had two of them. i just sold a set of snow tires to a guy in MA who bought the other ST?
