Just ran across this listing in Hemming's Classifieds.

Listing says 1 of 12, but couldn't find anything online other than an aftermarket company of the same name.

Has that retro-rod look like a Plymouth Prowler, except with the 351C/400 V8's it would sure have the go to back up the show. Although I'd bet that those wire wheels would be the weakness in that drivetrain. A couple power brake burnouts and they'd get out of round pretty quick. If these were offered with a manual, dumping the clutch could probably break the spokes right from the hubs.

Anyone know anything about these?

Found on another Ford forum a guy who says they made 15 of these, and were based on the Torino. Late 70's end of malaise era strangled American V8's probably wouldn't have been all that, but there'd be plenty of torque.

And he said if power braking smoky burnouts were your thing, you'd probably not want to do it with a 1 of 15.

Obviously not meant to be driven hard, if at all.

Yeah, a 'round-town-rumbler... not a racer. Like, arm hanging over the door, pull up alongside a cute girl walking, and, "Hey babe, wanna ride in my super rare hot rod." LOL.
